Odion Ighalo Moves To Manchester United On Loan

Former Watford striker Odion Ighalo has returned to the Premier League in a loan move to Manchester United that will run until the end of the season.

The forward joined Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua in February last year and shortly after that move, he was linked to Barcelona which the Nigerian international turned down stated that he is comfortable at the Chinese where he can get enough game time.

Just yesterday, United signed a Portuguese striker Bruno Fernandes to a £46 million contract and were also expected to make a second bid for Bournemouth striker Joshua King after their first offer was rejected.

Well, as the transfer window closes tonight, the expectation that United will make a second offer for Joshua King might have ended with the loan move of the Nigerian striker.

During Odion's spell at Watford, first in a loan move before he was retained and spent three seasons at the club, he made a total of 99 appearances for the side and scored 39 goals, in all competitions during his stay at Vicarage Road.
