Marcus Rashford Marks 200th Manchester United Appearance With Brace Against Norwich City

Manchester United ended their winless run by claiming a massive 4-0 victory of Norwich City at Old Trafford which was led by Marcus Rashford opening the scoring with a brace en route the victory.

United are not in Premier League title race and endured a 3-1 loss to Manchester City in the first leg of the EFL on Tuesday, casting doubt over their chance of lifting a trophy in the domestic league this season.

Meanwhile, Rashford was making his 200th career appearance for United and the two goals scored by the England international extended his goal tally to 14 in 22 appearances this season. He opened the scored by running in for Juan Mata's cross and tapped the ball in for the opening goal and doubled the lead after the break and converted a penalty drawn by Williams

The milestone reached by Rashford at the club made him the youngest player ever to reach the feat. Rashford has been in a favourable pecking order at the club since Romelu Lukaku left United for Inter Milan in summer.

There was no stopping of United from dominating neither could Norwich defender stop Anthony Martial from getting a header for the third goal from Mata's cross. Just when you think United have already sealed the victory Mason Greenwood drilled a well-taken left-footed shot to make it a fourth.

Delightful Rashford soon tweeted about making a landmark appearance for United and wrote that he is "beyond proud to become the third-youngest player to hit 200 Man Utd games."
