Kylian Mbappe Nets A Brace Against Monaco As PSG Extend Ligue 1 Lead

Paris Saint Germain have gained an eight-point lead after beating Monaco at home by 4-1 during which Kylian Mbappe netted twice and Neymar jr. also joined in the scoring.

Monaco have maintained unbeaten run for four consecutive league games last which was their 3-3 draw at Parc des Princes on Sunday. However, Kylian broke the deadlock today by brilliantly finishing di Maria's ball for the opening goal.

Neymar later converted a penalty on the brink of half time and Pablo Sarabia extended the lead after the break and Monaco got a consolation goal through Tiemoue Bakayoko before Mbappe scored the winner late in injury time.


The French striker, Mbappe, now has a total of 13 league goals in 14 appearances since the season commenced. The 21-year-old is still on top of scoring as he has a total of 21 goals in all competitions.
