Justin Bieber Reveals Battle With Lyme Disease

Justin Bieber has dismissed having any struggle with drugs rather has come out to reveal diagnosis with Lyme Disease - a bacterial infection caused by a tick bite.

There are misconceptions going around about the Canadian singer for his unhealthy look which some of his fans are suspecting to be caused by "meth" addiction. Unfortunately, they got it very wrong as the pop singer took to Instagram to tell it all.

Besides struggles with Lyme, the 'What Do You Mean' singer also revealed he struggles with "chronic mono" which is devastating his overall wellbeing in a lengthy message posted on Instagram.

"While a lot of people kept saying Justin Bieber look like sh*t, on meth etc. They failed to realized I've been recently diagnosed with Lyme disease," he wrote in the Instagram update. "Not only that but had serious case of chronic mono which affected my skin, brain function, energy, and overall health."

Just last week, the 25-year-old ended his four-year hiatus from any personal studio project and dropped first single "Yummy", however, he has been busy doing collaborations amongst which is "I'm The One" with DJ Khaled, "bad guy" with Billie Eilish and "I Don't Care" with Ed Sheeran.

Nothing to fear for as Bieber's health struggles are all curable and mononucleosis is an infection caused by the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) similar to what herpes infection.

Closing the message, he wrote: "It's been a rough couple years but getting the right treatment that will help treat this so far curable disease and I will be back and better than ever NO CAP."
