FA Cup: Gabriel Jesus Scores Twice In Manchester City's Win Against Fulham To Reach Last 16

Manchester City are into the last 16 of the FA Cup in defense of the title the won last season after beating Fulham 4-0 with Gabriel Jesus scoring twice at Etihad Stadium.

City had the better side of the game as they played against 10-man Fulham for the most part of the game after Tim Ream was red-carded for a rough tackle on Gabriel Jesus.

Ilkay Gundogan moved City in the lead when he converted a penalty conceded by Tim Ream for which he was red-carded and Bernando Silva doubled the lead later in the 19th minute.

Jesus extended the lead for City by heading in Joao Cancelo's cross and completed a rebound from Phil Foden's strike that was saved to his reach just minutes after his first.

The defeat is Fulham's heaviest since 2008/09 when they lost 4-0 to Manchester United. Last season, City won the trophy amongst their domestic treble that was first an English club to accomplish.

"They are a team with a lot of courage but after the red card it was different," said Pep Guardiola. "Motivation was right. After 2-0 we missed a little bit some of the movements because they defended well and high."
