Christian Eriksen Completes Move To Inter Milan From Tottenham
Christian Eriksen has finally left Tottenham Hotspurs for Inter Milan after completing a deal move for a fee of about £16.9 million that will last until the summer of 2024.
"I'm very excited and can't wait to introduce myself to the fans," he said. "I've already experienced their warmth, it's been a fantastic welcome. I feel great.
The Dane was offered a contract extension by Spurs but all attempts to retain him failed as he remained keen on leaving for a new future with the Italian side which ended his seven-year spell at White Hart Lane.
He added, "The numbers say that I did really well in England. It's now time to start a new challenge, I'm really happy to have the opportunity to play in Serie A for a big team."
Eriksen joined the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez who left Manchester United for the Italian side in summer. During his spell at White Hart Lane, he scored 69 goals in 305 appearances in all competitions.
