Bournemouth Reject Manchester United's Offer For Joshua King
Manchester United have just hours to meet up with Bournemouth's demands for their top striker Joshua King after their first offer was rejected.
The Norwegian international is in incredible form at the club he joined from Blackburn Rovers in May 2015, and in his spell at the club, he has a record of 45 goals in 151 appearances in all competitions.
Cherries manager, Eddie Howe, acknowledged the player is interested in reuniting with Ole Gunnar Solksjaer at United as they were once players at the club, but he was in the reserves at the time and could not make it to the senior team.
"He's a player that Manchester United know plenty about - he came through the academy here," Eddie said. " It wouldn't surprise me if United went back in."
Bournemouth are in the red of the Premier League and they are in need of the 28-year-old in the fight to come out of the relegation zone. But that is not to mention that United are keen on getting him and are working on a final move for the him before the deadline past.
