Billie Eilish To Write, Perform Theme Song For James Bond Film 'No Time To Die'

Having a role to play in James Bond is an incredible privilege for any artist and Billie Eilish has got for herself a role in the franchise's oncoming film, 'No Time To Die'.

The 25th installment will be Daniel Craig's last appearance in the film which for the first time starred a female character, Lashana Lynch, as the new 007. Also, Bohemian Rhapsody's lead actor, Rami Malek, will be making a debut in the franchise as the villain.

Billie announced the development via an update on her official Twitter page on Tuesday as she wrote, "Billie has written and will perform the theme song for the 25th Jame Bond film, #NoTimeTo Die."

The 'Everything I Wanted' singer is only 18-year-old and that made her the youngest artist ever to perform a theme song for the franchise. She only just made her debut in the music industry last year with, 'When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go'.

She goes on to say in the update, "To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exit. I'm still in shock."

'No Time To Die' was previously scheduled for theatrical release last year on 8 November but was later postponed to 3 April when it will finally be screening in the cinemas.
