West Ham Reappoint David Moyes As Manager

Former Manchester United manager David Moyes has been reappointed as the club's manager to replace Manuel Pellegrini who was sacked after losing 2-1 to Leicester City on Saturday.

Moyes signed to an 18-month deal on his return to the club for the second spell and will start the new job on New Year's Day when they will be hosting Bournemouth.

Speaking on his return, the 56-year-old described his appointed as an "unfinished business" he left off in 2018 when he was sacked an replaced by the Chilean manager.

"I'm feeling very proud that I'm back here at West Ham," said Moyes. "More importantly I'll be looking to see what I can do, what I can make improvements to and how we can get some wins with the players."

Hammers are narrowly out of the red zone as are just a point away to be in the 17th position whilst Aston Villa, Watford, and Norwich are in the relegation zone.
