Premier League: Tottenham Win Big Against Burnley

This is the biggest win Jose Mourinho ever claimed for Tottenham Hotspur since he was signed to a four-year contract to the club as the replacement for former manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Spurs returned winning form by thrashing Burnley 5-0 after with team captain Harry Kane scoring a double after they conceded their first defeat under the Portuguese to Manchester United on Wednesday.

The goals campaign started very early with Kane putting the team ahead in 4th minutes with a superb finish from 30-yard and Lucas Moura poking in a deflected shot for the second followed a third from Son Heung-min who sprinted into the box and finished the ball off on Nick Pope's advance.

It got worse for Burnley after the break as Dele Alli slid the ball to Kane and he raced into the ball to finish the ball off into the net and the team captain set Moussa Sissoko off to wrapped the scoring up with the fifth in the 74th minute.

Meanwhile, Burnley came close getting one in with a headed pass from Robert Bradley to Chris Wood but his headed shot was blocked by Davinson Sanchez and that was the only attempt at the target Clarets as against Spurs.

Spurs' manager said afterward, "There are still a few holes and chances to opponents but we were much, much, much more solid. It's the best day because it is the complete performance. It was perfect."

Mourinho has never lost a game against Clarets and his win today is his biggest against any team since 2015 in Manchester United 5-0 win over Swansea.
