Premier League: Tottenham Force Draw At Norwich City
Harry Kane helped Tottenham force 2-2 draw with Norwich City after converting a late penalty to cancel out Serge Aurier's own goal that could have cost Spurs the game.
Norwich game planned worked out for them and produced the first goal as Mario Vrancic picked up the ball from Spurs' Juan Foyth and race in on the ball then sent it home.
Again, Mario inspired another strike with a long flick of the ball over to Teemu Pukki for a fast break and he finished it right but VAR ruled Pokki was in an offside position.
After the break, Christian Eriksen leveled the scoring for Spurs with a superb finish from a free-kick but poor communication between Aurier and Toby Alderweireld on Pukki's challenge resulted in Aurier tapping the ball in for an own goal and Norwich went up in the lead.
Norwich was heading for the victory until Dele Alli inspired a fast break and set Kane for a striker with a through ball in the box but Christoph Zimmermann chased on and tripped him, drawing a spot-kick that he converted for the equalizer.

Just as Norwich moved up in the lead from Aurier's defensive error, Spurs hag a paid back time from Zimmermann's needless contest on the ball against Kane. He had the side punished and Kane did justice to that.
Eriksen was another well-taking effort from a free-kick that brilliant restored the team's confidence. Mind you, Norwich had a brilliant game plan and Pukki could have pushed the side through had it not been ruled out by VAR.
Getting maximum points could have given Spurs a huge leap but they have sneaked up to the sixth position and are just two points away from squeezing themselves into the top four.
