Premier League: Liverpool Beat Wolves To Extend Unbeaten Run

Liverpool are on the run for the Premier League title as they extended their unbeaten run to 50 league games in a row after beating Wolverhampton 1-0 at Anfield.

Reds are a game away from having a year-long unbeaten run and maintained a 13-point lead of the lead from Sadio Mane's goal but there was lengthy verification for a protest alleging Adam Lallana of a handball before it was upheld by the referee.

Wolves netted an equalizer from Pedro Neto on the brink of half time, but Jonny was caught in an offside position by the VAR and that invalidated the goal. Meanwhile, they did well in the defense at keeping Liverpool off from heaping goals on them as Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino came close to getting a goal.

Likewise, Adams Traore was well contained by Reds and Virgin van Dijk committed a defensive error by letting Raul Jimenes wrestle the ball off him and smashed it at the goal for Allison to save.

Wolves stunned Manchester City with a stunning second-half comeback the wiped off a two-goal deficit to win by 3-2. They proved the Liverpool that they were easy to crack as they both shared 10 goals apiece despite having lesser domination of the game.
