Ole Gunnar Solksjaer Denies Knowledge Of Club's Target Erling Haaland Jetting To Manchester

Erling Haaland's hope of landing a deal with a new team might soon materialize as the Norwegian starlet is understood to be on his way out of Norway and has boarded a plane from Stavanger with his father.

The teenager, 19, is strongly speculated to be linked to Manchester United and also to two Bundesliga sides, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, but Ole Gunnar Solksjaer dismissed any knowledge of the player en route Manchester from his home country.

"I don't think he's en route here, to be fair, not through me anyway," Solksjaer clarified. "You can't fly anywhere from Stavanger, can you, so you need to go via via!"

Meanwhile, the Red Bull Salzburg player is available to any interested club at a price that potentially more than the fee that United signed Pogba (£89.3m) for in 2016. He reportedly stands the prospect of signing a deal of £100 million.

As already known, Pogba is keen on leaving United for Real Madrid, an interest that has been on the headlines since last year. Now that January window transfer is another opportunity to move to Spain, Solksjaer maintained that it is not in their plan to release him.

"I hope he will play before the end of the year," the 45-year-old assured the Frenchman is staying at Old Trafford. "I am not going to push him. I can't risk any setbacks or injuries."
