Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi Crowned Miss Universe 2019

It is time for Miss Philippines Catriona Gray to stepdown her reign as the beauty queen which has been hers since last year until Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi was crowned the winner of the 2019 Miss Universe held in Atlanta at Tyler Perry Studios on Sunday.

Hosted by renowned stand-up Steve Harvey, Miss Puerto Rico Madison Anderson was announced as the first runner-up position and in the second runner-up was Miss Mexico Sofia Aragon.

There was a bit of mix-up at the ceremony as Harvey wrongly announced Miss Philippines Gazini Ganados as the winner of National Constune but was corrected by Miss Malaysia Shweta Sekhon who was the rightful winner. She told him, "It's not Miss Philippine. It's Miss Malaysia"

Harvey admitted his mistake and explained, "Well...let me explain something to you. I just read that in a teleprompter. You all quit doing this to me. I can read this. They are trying to fix it now."

He goes on, "This is Malaysia. I really love this National Costume of Malaysia. This is crazy...Whatever you said. I'm scared to say your name. Thank you, Malaysia. An outfit that nice, you out to wear that again."
