Mauricio Pochettino Hopes To Return To Management In Europe

Mauricio Pochettino is far away in his home country Argentina after his dismissal from Tottenham following the team's performance in the Premier League but has not given up on returning to management.

After leading Spurs to their first-ever Champions League final appearance, Poche's handling at the club spiraled down with straight five league games winless runs that sent the team down to 14th in the table. That streak earned him a dismissal and was replaced with Jose Mourinho.

There are speculations he is linked to Bayern Munich and Arsenal as both clubs are being managed by interim manager since their respective managers were sacked. He, however, did not deny having connections to either of the two in an interview with Fox Sports Argentina, as he hopes to "return to manage in Europe" after taking time away from the sport to connect to his family and friend.

"There are a lot of clubs and attractive projects for me to take on. It is my intention to return to manage in Europe," he told Sport.

He went on to say, "My first decision was to come back to Argentina, return to my home and see family and friends. My best decision was to come to Argentina to switch off for 10 days. But I expect to return to Europe to make decisions on my future. At my age, I don't need a lot of time to recover."
