Club World Cup: Liverpool Beat Flamengo To Be Champions
Liverpool are the champions of the Fifa Club World Cup for the first handed down by a superb finish from Roberto Firmino who scored the winning goal to beat the relentless Brazilian side Flamengo by 1-0 to clinch the trophy.
Firmino produced the right finish of Sadio Mane's assist following a fast break to give Liverpool a worthy victory over Flamengo in the extra minutes after they played goallessly through the full time.
Reds had a couple of good chances especially from Firmino whose volley clipped the bar and Mane also came close but was brought down on the edge of the box. It was first challenged for a penalty but VAR ruled it out.
