Champions League: Jurgen Klopp Warns Liverpool of Red Bull Salzburg's Erling Haaland

Beating Red Bull Salzburg is crucial to Liverpool's qualification for the knockout stages of the Champions League and its manager Jurgen Klopp has a warning for his team about the Austrian side striker, Erling Haaland, ahead of their match on Tuesday.

Liverpool should have sealed a place in the Last 16 had the won their previous game against Napoli which ended in a 1-1 draw at Anfield Stadium. Except for Genk, the gap between the teams in Group E are relatively close despite Reds being in the lead.

Klopp admitted the 19-year-old is the man to watch out for in the opponent's team and since he is an "exceptional" striker and hard to stop, he suggested best for his men will be not to allow him to get to the ball too often.

"Just a really big, big talent with a wonderful future, 100 percent," said Klopp. "We have to make it as difficult as possible. He's unfortunately not the only strong player in their team."

Haaland joined the Austrian team in January and his performance has gained the attention of top European clubs for having scored 28 goals in 21 appearances in all competitions.
