Carlos Ancelotti Disappointed In Arsenal For Preferring To Hire Mikel Arteta As New Manager
It is just a matter of time before Carlos Ancelotti Is confirmed as Everton's new manager after its former head coach Marco Silva was sacked day after massive loss to Liverpool.
It should be noted that Ancelotti favoured Arsenal as his preferred choice for a Premier League return but sadly for him, Gunners are hoping to sign a candidate who was their former players. Thus, his talks with the club in a bid to land a contract was futile.
The 60-year-old who had a successful two-season spell at Chelsea where he won the Premier League and FA Cup in his debut season and left the club to join Real Madrid where he won his third Champions League title.
Speaking to a sport analyst on Gold's II Processo Show in Italy, the former Real Madrid expressed his disappointment in Arsenal for preferring Arteta over him after he had a meeting with the club.
Ancelotti was sacked at Napoli after leading to team to ten successive winless games and was replaced by Gennaro Gattuso who was once his player at AC Milan.
Meanwhile, Arteta stands to be appointed as Arsenal manager in a matter of days after he reportedly agreed to deal terms with Arsenal following a negotiation with the club executive Josh Kroenke.
