Unai Emery Says "Thank You" To Arsenal And Fans

Unai Emery is not having any difficulties dealing with his dismissal as the manager Arsenal FC rather has a reason to show appreciation for the opportunity afforded him at the club.

The 48-year-old reached the end of his Arsenal spell after losing 2-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt in the group stage match of the Europa League. Japanese International Daichi Kamada scored two brilliant goals for the Bundesliga side in a comeback from a goal down to Gunners to seal the victory.

"It has been an honour to be Arsenal head coach," Emery was reportedly quoted as saying in a statement. "To all the fans, I want to thank you all."

Emery succeeded former manager Arsene Wenger and only lasted for 18 months only to be replaced by his assistance Freddie Ljungberg. During the Spaniard's reign, he won no trophies with the team but led them to finish as runners-up of the 2018/19 Europe League season.
