Tyler Perry Doles Out Money To Help Sick Man Pay Hospital Bill

Tyler Perry lent a helping hand to a struggling couple who could have been trapped in a hospital bill they will by no means be able to pay unless aid is given to them either by group funding or a kind-hearted person. 

Stephen Johnson and his fiancee Tori Austin, both who reside in Atlanta, were on a holiday cruise in Mexico when he suddenly was struck down by stranged illnesses and was quickly taking to a hospital. Sadly, Stephen will have to be on dialysis because he was diagnosed with pancreatitis, diabetes and kidney infection.

Luckily, he recovered from the sickness after treatments were administered but the bill that was given to them was beyond their financial reach and had to go open a GoFundMe to raise funds. By this time, their hospital bill had shot up to $14,000 according to TMZ.

Somehow, the couple's desperate needs reached Tyler and called up the hospital to pay the bill which he did by transferring the whole amount to the hospital's account. The transaction is expected to clear by Monday and Stephen was discharged soon after the payment was made.

Tyler is estimated to have a net worth of approximately $600 million according to Forbes. He opened his own studios that he named after himself, Tyler Perry Studios, in Atlanta, making him the first African-American to own film production studios in the history of the United States.
