T.I's Habitual Verification Of Daughter's Virginity And Reactions From Celebrities

It might sound untrue but it is not as Clifford Joseph Harris whose stage name T.I, confessed he annually verified his daughter's virginity until her 18th birthday. That is no doubt a remarkable resilience better still a commitment to preventing the teenager from having sex by any chance.

Was it rapper T.I who initiated the idea of an annual virginity verification test? Well, it was not really his idea according to what he told Ladies Like Us podcast hosts, Nazanin Mandi and Badis Moham, as it happened that he enjoyed having a wild conversation with daughter, Deyjah Harris, including sex and from there, the idea of virginity and needs to justify claims may have probably cropped up.

T.I and his daughter, Deyjah.

The news quickly went viral when Tip confessed on the podcast that he annual would follow Deyjah to the gynecologist to verify if her hymen - the tiny tissue covering the exterior of the virginal - is still very much "intact". In fact, he boasted that it can gladly say that Deyjah's hymen "is intact" as of her birthday in June when she turned 18-year-old.

"I will say as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact," the rapper boasted. "Deyjah's 18, just graduated high school now and she's attending her first year of college, figuring it out herself."

That confession sounded like cracking a joke to the hosts because how could he have sneaked into her medical details without permission, Tips went on to elaborate on how he got his daughter to give her consent to let him know. At this time, Deyjah was just 16-year-old.

"I'm like, 'Deyjah they want you to sign this so we can share information. Is there anything you wouldn't want me to know? See doc? No problem," he persuaded her politely.

Well, the 'Swagga Like Us' may be glad with his curiosity and his daughter's compliance but that did not sound right to some celebrities and social media network users alike, who believed he has just gone a bit too extra mile for having to follow her annually to the doctor to do hymen test and saying publicly was another point frowned at.

Sharon Osbourne, a host on The Talk, slammed the rapper on her show saying: "Don't talk about your kids' sex life, about what's going on in their body, it is sacred to them."

Joining the list of Tip's critics was Iggy Azalea in a tweeted message which she later deleted but clearly called the rapper out for having "serious control issues with women" and suggested that he "needs" to go to a therapist.

Even Deyjah was one of her dad's critics as liked three tweeted message that condemned her dad public speaking of her body and his indulgence. She later tweeted, "I loveeeeeee yalllllll."
