Roger Federer Tips Two Players Who Will "Make Life Difficult" Next Season
As it is obvious that the NextGen players have come of age and acquired the right skills to withstand the big players, Federer has one in mind if not two who potentially could be a tough one to beat come next season and that is speaking of Alexander Zverev and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Zverev defeated the Swiss to reach the final match of the 2018 Nitto ATP Finals, which he won for the first time in his career, and again this season, another youngster Stefanos Tsitsipas beat Federer in the semi-final to reach the final and won this season-ending championship as the first Greek to lift Nitto ATP Finals trophy in history.
When approached by TMZ Sport and asked who did he think would make next season difficult for him and other big players, Federer replied: "There's a few guys right now. They're gonna make life difficult for us next year and I think I will be [Alexander] Zverev and [Stefanos] Tsitsipas."
The 38-year-old has won a total 103 major singles career titles which include 20 Grand Slams, 28 Masters 1000 titles and six ATP Finals. He finished this season with four titles.
