Premier League: Leicester City Thrash Arsenal To Move Up On League Table

Arsenal had a disappointing trip to King Power Stadium where they lost 2-0 to Leicester City who moved up to second place and dropped Chelsea down to third on the league table.

Unai Emery have been under criticism for the team's performance and there are speculations that he might be replaced by Jose Mourinho. During the game which Gunners could only made an attempt at the target, they held their hosts down in the first half but things changed after the break.

James Vardy wrecked Arsenal's resilience with the opening goal for Foxes and minutes later, James Maddison sent a low past Hector Bellerin to double the lead in the 75th minutes.
Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang look unhappy with the result
"In the end, a bad result but we did our gameplan," Emery said. "Thinking right in the moment and we dis that and when they scored the first goal was the moment maybe."

Arsenal have been unable to win in five straight away league games whilst Foxes have won three successive top-flight home games against Arsenal, and Vardy's goal was his 11th this season to become the highest scoring player in the league.
