Pep Guardiola Wants Contract Extension With Manchester City
The Spaniard started his managerial career at FC Barcelona where he won three La Liga and two Champions League titles and proceded to join Bayern Munich and won yet three Bundesliga titles.
City have not opened any contract discussion with the 48-year-old who admitted working at the club has been one that is really "comfortable" for him and hopes to stay longer.
Pep led the team to win a domestic treble last season to be the first-ever to that in the country and goes on to say, "When you are [somewhere for] five years it depends on the results. We will see what happens this and next season."
"I'm open [to discussing new contract], yes. It is not about the club wants or not. For me, I want to see my players and the reaction of my players and everything."
The defending champions are not having an easy race this season as they trail arch-rivals Liverpool who leads the table with 37 points to be in the top spot.
