Pep Guardiola Favours Potential Move To Italian Serie A After Spell At Manchester City
Italian Serie A might be the next league of choice for Pep Guardiola after his Premier League stint at Manchester City as he is positive about "training" there someday.
Guardiola has enjoyed a trophy-ladened reign at Etihad Stadium with seven silverware in his record since joining the club from Bayern Munich in 2016. He, however, has not been open discussing links to any clubs and when he was approached on Juventus' interest in summer, he denied having any conversation with the club.
That position might gradually be tilting as the 48-year-old admitted to having an interest in the league with an expectation of moving over after his term at City because he "loves" the country.
"Training in Italy? Why not," Guardiola reportedly said. "I had a great time and I love the country but now I feel good in England, it's a great championship. But maybe yes. I'm not that old."
The Spaniard has until 2021 in his contract with Manchester City where he won a domestic treble last season to become the first manager to reach the feat in Premier League history.
