Kylie Jenner Sells Stake In Makeup Company To Make £600 Million

As already know that Kylie Jenner is the richest of the Kardashian clan with net-worth estimated to be £1 billion, she is no doubt a success story for her siblings.

Having said that, she has just netted well over half a billion dollars for agreeing to a deal to sell her makeup company, Kylie Cosmetics to a multinational beauty company Coty Inc.

A whopping $600 million is the value of the deal sealed by the model and reality show star after 51% of her beauty company which has a valuation of $1.2 billion was acquired by Coty to be the new entity of the brand.

However, the new owners intend to retain the 22-year-old as the brand's public face in an effort to help build the cosmetic brand into a global status, according to the chairman of the company, Peter Harf.

"Kylie is a modern-day icon, with an incredible sense of the beauty consumer," said Harf in a statement. "We believe in the high potential of building a global beauty brand together."

The mother-of-one started the beauty line in 2015 and within a space of two years was estimated by Forbes to worth $800 million before she was declared as the youngest self-made billionaire in history.
