Kyle Kuzma, Anthony Davis Lead Los Angeles Lakers To Outclass Phoenix Suns
Los Angeles Lakers are back to winning so was Kyle Kuzma who posted 23 points and four rebounds for his season's best and Anthony Davis defiled shoulder injury to lead with 24 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists to win on the road to Phoenix Suns by 123-115.
LeBron James posted up 19 points, seven rebounds, and 11 assists to keep the team up against Phoenix Suns after their unbeaten streak got snapped by NBA Championship defenders, Toronto Raptors on Monday.
The game potentially could have gone the other way but James repositioned Lakers with a three-pointer that moved up by a point in the lead over Suns, then Kuzma connected vital three-point attempts back-to-back to keep the side on the road to victory leading by seven points (120-113) with 1:40 seconds left.
Lakers' head coach Frank Vogel acknowledged the impact made in the game by Kuzma and hope he would follow in the stead tomorrow against Golden State Warrior as he said. "If [Kuzma] can bounce back and have another great night tomorrow, that would be huge."
Danny Green picked up 14 points, one rebound, and three assists and said something nice about Anthony Davis and the team reaching the playoff, "let us do all the dirty work, keep his body healthy and stuff like that, and come playoff time, it's go time. So we want to make sure to keep him fresh."
Ricky Rubio and Denis Booker tied up and scored 42 points on combined for Phoenix Suns but the former completed a double-double with four rebounds and 10 assists. Aron Baynes added up 20 points, six rebounds, and three assists followed by Dario Saric with 18 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
