Joshua v Ruiz Rematch: Andy Ruiz Promised To "Make History Again"

Anthony Joshua's rematch with heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz is going to be a fight of his career as the defender of the title vowed to do even more damages to his career and "make history" once again.

Ruiz dealt a massive blow to Joshua's career in their first bout which he won at Madison Square in New York to be the holder of Briton's four heavyweight championship belts - WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO - and that was his first defeat in 23 fights.

Both fighters are already in Saudi Arabia where the fight themed as "Clash On The Dune" will be held on 7 December and Ruiz has a strong warning for Joshua, saying ahead of the bout: "You know I made history in New York and I'll make history again in Suadi Arabia."

That may not be coming as bluffing because Joshua is aware that a defeat might "tarnish career" for a long and it will be difficult for him to come out of it.

"I don't think I would be content if I don't win the titles," Joshua said in an interview last week. "For me as a man, it means more than anything."

Well, Ruiz might have to watch his back because Joshua had also promised to beat and demanded that his critics give him the utmost respect they can when he did.
