Jose Mourinho Rules Out Zlatan Ibrahimovic Joining Tottenham


Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a free agent now that he has run out of contract with LA Galaxy but Jose Mourino has ruled out any interest to hire the Swede at Tottenham Hotspur.

Mourinho made it clear to his former team player at Manchester United that there is "no chance" to him at his new club where he replaced Mauricio Pochettino last week on Wednesday. The Portuguese won his debut league game against West Ham by 3-2 on Saturday.

"Amazing player, amazing guy  - but I would say no chance," said Mourinho on the player who won Europa League title and the EFL Cup with him at Manchester United.

He, however, did not deny the quality of player the 38-year-old is made of describing him as one of the best in the world, yet he would not because he already has another top striker, Harry Kane in the team.

The 56-year-old spent eleven months without a club after he was sacked at Manchester United in December 2018. According to him, he chose to stay that long for his desire to join a team that is at his dimension as a manager, soon an opportunity following Pochettino's dismissal at Spurs.
