Former Barcelona Player Samuel Eto'o Goes Back To School
Retired Cameroonian international Samuel Eto'o has found new passion far from playing football and is now a student after being accepted to study business management at Harvard University in the United States.
Eto'o started his professional football career at Real Madrid in 1997 and ended it at Qatar SC in September this year when he announced his retirement from a career that lasted through 22 years and well-ladened with trophies.
The former Barcelona striker will be resuming to college in January and explained that the purpose of going back to school is to "learn new skills" and potentially make impacts on the continent of Africa.
"I want to help and to make my positive contribution to the transformation of our continent," he told a website Jeune Afrique.
The 38-year-old is the all-time highest goalscorer of his country's national team with 56 goals in 116 appearances. During his professional, he won a total of 15 silverware in Europe and is also a four-time winner of the African Player of the Year Award.
