Europa League: 'You Expect To Win Against Teams Like This" Says Solskjaer After Manchester United Thrash Partizan Belgrade

Manchester United edged close to sealing a place in the knockout stages after beating Partizan Belgrade 3-0 at Old Trafford to extend their lead in group stage.

United could have given away an opener to the Serbian side from a poor back pass committed by Harry Maguire but Umar Sadiq's goal from ruled out for offside position.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did not seem like someone who was bothered by that because his expectations was undoubtedly a victory for United against "teams like this".

They quickly responded to that shock, coming out for an offensive which paid of with Mason Greenwood smacking a left footed shot home from inside the box and Anthony Martial doubled the lead dribbling past the defence before striking the ball into the goal just after 30 minutes of play.

Marcus Rashford completed the victory for United with a superb finish of a pass from Ashley Cole. Meanwhile, Belgrade did not stand much chance to cause a scare except when Seydouba Soumah attempted a shot from 25-yard which went just wide.

"You expect to win at home against teams like this," Solskjaer said afterward. "No disrespect to Partizan, because they gave us a really good game over there, but at home you expect to win."
