Ebere Eze Flirts With Favouring Nigeria National Team Over England
Queen Park Rangers player Ebere Eze might have just indicated his interest to spend his international career with the Nigerian Super Eagles following a meeting the country's NFF president Amaju Pinnick.
Pinnick's attempt to get Chelsea duo Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori to switch interest from England to their native country failed as both abandoned him to accept a call-up from Gareth Southgate for Euro 2020 qualifier match against Bulgaria and Kosovo.
The midfielder, 21, reportedly paid a visit to Pinnick's London home on Sunday after the NFF president watched him in Rangers' match against Fulham on Friday.
Eze, who is British by birth, has not made his position clear on which of the countries he would like to spend his international career with, however, he has made appearances with England U20 and U21 squad.
