Champions League: Tottenham Rally From Behind To Beat Olympiacos And Qualify For Last 16
Tottenham came from behind to rally and delivered an impressive 4-2 victory over Olympiacos with team captain Harry Kane scoring twice for the team to secure enough points to qualify for the Round of Last 16.
Spurs have now won all two games played under Jose Mourinho who replaced ousted manager Mauricio Pochettino. They had conceded two shocking goals from Youssef El Arabi and Ruben Semedo's strikes early into the game but Dele Alli pulled back a game on the brink of half time.
The home returned from the break stronger and better with Harry scoring the equalizer and scored the winning goal with a header just four minutes after Serge Aurier smacked into the net a loose ball from Son Heung-min to put Spurs ahead.
Bayern Munich occupied the top spot of Group B and Spurs trailed in the second position with 10 points in a match that was the Portuguese since taking over the team as a replacement for ousted Mauricio Pochettino.
Having a look at the game once again, Mourinho spotted the need to improve on the team's attack and introduced Christian Eriksen taking out Eric Dier in the first half. However, Harry Kane finished the game with his 20th goal in 23 appearances in the Champions League making him the fastest player to do so after Alessandro del Piero in 1988.
