Bayern Munich Planning To Appoint Mauricio Pochettino As Manager

Bayern Munich may have just found a suitable manager to be appointed as ousted Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino reportedly has been rumoured to be linked to the club for the role left off by Niko Kovac.

Since the dismissal of Kovac, the Bundesliga side has for a while now been without a permanent manager and their links to former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger failed after the Frenchman was appointed by Fifa as chief of global football management.

Pochettino was sacked by Spurs following the team's poor start to the season to be replaced by former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho in a four-year deal on Wednesday.

Before the 56-year-old Portuguese manager returned to football management, he has spent eleven months without a club to manage basically because he wanted one that is at the "dimension" of what he is as a manager, he told Sky Sports in September.
