Arsenal Boss Unai Emery Drops Granit Xhaka Against Wolverhampton
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has confirmed his team captain Granit Xhaka will be dropped from the squad for their Premier League game against Wolverhampton on Saturday.
Announcing the Swiss' omission from starting lineup, Emery said his captain has admitted his wrongdoings and apologized but maintained that the team would, "need time to recover the normality in him."
The 27-year-old demonstrated of his dismay at booing from fans by angrily pulling off his Jersey when he was subbed in the club's 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

"It's not in my mind that he will play tomorrow. I am thinking tomorrow he is not going to play. Now we need to focus 100% on the match," Emery replied when asked if the Swiss will be in his squad for the home game against Wolves. "
Since last Sunday, Xhaka revealed he has been faced with huge criticism from social media users, who has dragged him to "boiling point" with ill and threatening remarks such as, 'We will break your legs', 'Kill your wife' and 'Wish that your daughter gets cancer.'
He was dropped in Arsenal's game against Liverpool in the EFL Carabao Cup on Wednesday, which they lost on penalties by 5-5.
