Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz Jr. Rematch: Joshua Promised To Show His Greatness To Ruiz

As we count down to rematch day, Anthony Joshua has vowed to beat his conqueror Andy Ruiz and retake his heavyweight championship belts - IBF, WBA, and WBO - from him to prove his greatness to once again.

AJ suffered an embarrassing defeat to the American-Mexican in a seven-round knockout in their first bout in June at Madison Square, New York. He lost all his three belts to Ruiz, bringing his reign as heavyweight champion and undefeated run to a devastating end.

Speaking to Sky Sports Box office, the Briton assured his followers that 7 December will be the day Ruiz reign will end and is coming for nothing less than victory even if he will be "fighting the best man in the world now."

"I'm going to whup him and show how great I am," he told Sky Sports. "They think he's so great, so when I beat him I want everybody to bow to my feet and tell me how great I am."

Recalling how his defeat started off with losing his stamina when he was knockdown in round three just after he had first floored Ruiz, Joshua pointed out that he has brushed up on those shortcomings in his skills as against Ruiz claims that he was just lucky to have floored him first.

Joshua added. "Apparently I'm fighting the quickest hands and the best fighter in the division. So once I beat him I want everybody to bow to me."

"I'm confident that I know what I need to do now, and I've prepared to the best of my capability to go out and perform. Performance leads to the win"
