Tottenham Had Terrible Champions League Game Against Serge Gnarby and Bayern Munich

Tottenham will have a hard time watching their 7-2 home loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday, which saw Serge Gnarby picking up four goals in a match that is the most humiliating Spurs history in the continental game.

All the game plan that the English side had in mind came crumbling down as their opponents responded angrily through Joshua Kimmich to their early lead from Son Heung-Min in 15th minutes.

Tottenham suffered worst defeat in 137 years
However, Spurs tried to put up a show of feat by levelling the scores from Harry Kane's finish for a 2-2 even score but that they would not have thought will be the end of their scoring chances after Robert Lewandoski had scored Bayern's second on the brink of half time.

On return from break, it turned out that Spurs will be playing against a dangerous German side and not long into the second half, the former Arsenal player, Gnarby, struck in a brace within two minutes (53rd and 55th minutes), shoving the English side behind for a comfortable lead by 4-2.

At this time, Spurs' defense was already in shamble and the Germans would capitalize on that to widen the goal margin. Apparently, they got two more goals from Gnarby within five minutes in the 80th minutes to make it 7-2.

Meanwhile, in-between Gnarby's goal was a nice sandwich goal from Lewandoski in 87th minutes, beating Hugo Lloris with a brilliant finish for the sixth goal.

It was a disappointing game for Mauricio Pocchettino, who suffered his worst defeat since he joined the club. Worse off was that the blasphemous defeat happened to be the first time in 137 years history of Tottenham.

In another spectrum, that was the biggest victory ever recorded by Bayern Munich in European competition after 7-1 win over Roma in 2014.
