Premier League: Liverpool Beat Leicester City To Retain Win Streak
Liverpool retained unbeaten run with a late penalty converted by James Milner to give the side a deserved 2-1 victory over Leicester City at Anfield.
Foxes had fought back to get a leveler from James Maddison late into the game, unfortunately, they will walk away with no points as Marc Albrighton clipped Sadio Mane's heel in the box and gave away a needless spot-kick to Liverpool.
Breaking into Foxes' defensive was not been easy for Liverpool until Milner connected Mane with a curled cross and the Senegalese picked up the ball, ran with it and slot it down the bottom left of the post for the opening goal before the break.

Later on their return from break, Leicester began to gain control of the ball and worked it out well until it paid off when Ayoze Perez let a through pass to Maddison to finish with a low underneath Liverpool's goalkeeper Adrian in the 80th minutes.
The game was heading for a 1-1 draw which would have been the table leaders' first winless match in eight league matches, Albrighton got Foxes in trouble for downing Mane in the box. Milner sent the ball low to near bottom left of the post for Liverpool's winning goal in 90th+5 minutes.
In the end, Livepool widened its table lead by eight points over closest rivals Manchester City (16) and extended their stronghold to a home game victory to 43 - their longest on record after 63 win streak in 1978/80.
Disappointed Leicester remained the third place with 10 points behind the leaders and stand the risk of sliding a place down if Arsenal won tomorrow against Bournemouth on Sunday.
