Kevin Hart Auto Crash Caused By Not Wearing Seat Belt

Kevin Hart is back home, well and healthy and the mystery surrounding his car crash has been blamed on sudden acceleration and loss of control on the authorities.

The Jumanji star was in the company of two friends in a vintage car Plymouth Barracuda he bought as a gift to himself on his 40th birthday when the vehicle they were driving in, lost control and crashed into a wooden fence and then into an embankment.

The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning on August 30, from which the stand-up comedian sustained an injury to his back for which he was operated on and was discharged to continue his recovery with a physical therapist.

It is understood that Kevin had done all necessary mechanical work required to put the vehicle in good shape and roadworthy but the authorities realized the safety belt had not been fixed and excessively slack.

All the occupants in the vintage car were not wearing the seat belt and that includes Kevin himself. Nevertheless, cops believe that would not have done any good at the time of the crash "due to excessive slack in the belt", according to reports.

In addition, it was gathered that Kevin was able to make his out of the crashed vehicle and make his way home since the spot where the incident is far from his resident in Malibu before the other two occupants were rescued.

Just as Kevin, the driver Jared Black sustained the same injuries but his fiancee who was the third person in the company reportedly suffered minor injuries.
