German Bundesliga: Bayern Munich Concede First Defeat To Hoffenheim
After an unbeaten home run against Hoffenheim that has lasted for 11 meetings, Bayern Munich conceded first defeat by 1-2 to the side for their first Bundesliga loss this season.
Sargis Adamyan led the defeat of the league table leaders who on Tuesday claimed their highest-victory in recent times over Premier League side Tottenham by 7-2 in the Champions League group stage match on Tuesday.
Unfortunately, Bayern could not follow the stead against Hoffenheim and saw Adamyan scoring twice in-between win Robert Lewandowski sandwiched a goal for the side but could not recover the deficit to stop their first defeat of the year.
Serge Gnarby, who wrecked Tottenham with four goals, did registered in an opener but was ruled out for offside position. After the break, Adamyan compensated the team with an opening goal in 54th minutes.
Lewandowski brought Bayern back into the game with an equalizer but it was really short lived as the Armenian followed up with the winning in 79th minutes.
Bayern haven't lost a game since March and are still at the top of the table with four points ahead of closest rivals Freiburg.
