Zinedine Zidane Dismisses Link Between Jose Mourinho And Real Madrid, Says "I Never Give Up"
It was startling for many to watch Paris Saint-Germain thrash Real 3-0 in Paris without Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani - the goal margin potentially could have been wider than it was.
"I'm not interested in what is said out the club," Zidane said in response to speculations of threats to his job. "The day I pay attention to what's in the press is the day I leave."
By the way, that was the biggest defeat in a group stage match of the Champion League since 2004 besides the fact that they could not register a shot at the target during the match.
"I feel in a strong position and I never give up. I will keep trying until the last minutes as long as the club will give me the chance to continue...I'm not bothered by Jose Mourinho speculation."
Yet, the Frenchman is one of the best coaches out there and one that has great achievements in his first episode as a manager at the club, when he won the Champions League title in three occasions in a row alongside other silverwares.
That is not to mention that he was as a player one of the best attacking-midfielders Real ever had. During his professional football career, his sealed the 2001-2002 Champions League victory for the club against Leverkusen with a thrilling left-footed volley.
