Premier League: Arsenal Deny Manchester United Victory At Old Trafford
Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw against Arsenal at Old Trafford and remain out of top-four with nine points adrift the table leaders, Liverpool.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not been have it easy since the start of the season and the team's performance has been described as the worst since 1997-98.
United's hope of getting a home win was heightened when Scott McTominay struck the ball in from the edge of the box just on the brink of half time. Unfortunately, that hope will soon be eroded after the break.
Before half time of play, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang leapt to tap home a pass from Saka to level for Arsenal. The Gabonese was previously considered to be in offside position but VAR ruling overturned the referee's position and a goal was awarded.
McTominay was close to getting United the winning goal with a header from Ashley Young's cross but that went over and the game would progress to finish in a draw.
Arsenal for the first time since 2000 played two consecutive Premier League games unbeaten by Manchester United who are 10th in the table as against their London based rivals who are fourth with 12 points.
