Premier League: 10-Men Arsenal Beat Aston Villa With A Comeback

Arsenal defiled losing Ainsley Maitland-Nile  to two yellow card offense and beat Aston Villa with comeback from a goal down to claim a 3-2 victory at Emirates stadium.

Matteo Guendouzi played significant role in giving Arsenal the needed drive for a comeback. He inspired the equalizer following a foul play on him and delivered the cross that culminated in Mings levelled up the scoring before.

Mesut Ozil was on bench through the game and Alexander Lacazette was not in the lineup, but Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang worked out the winning goal late into the game.

Ivorian winger scored his first goal at Arsenal from a penalty drawn by Guendouzi to equalise Villa's lead from the first half from McGinn tap in of El Ghazi's cross.

Jack Grealish inspired Villa to reclaim lead, dribbling through Arsenal's defenders and let a pass to Wesly Moraes inside the six-yard box for a tap in, just a minute after the Ivorian levelled the scoring.

Weak Villa could not hold on to the lead as Arsenal kept the pressure on them and made disastrous mistake that wrecked their chance to making away with the maximum points.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang scored his fifth goal in four games during the match

Villa paid dearly for Callum Chambers' defensive error after Guendouzi picked Tyrone Mings out in box with a cross and he struck Chambers' poor head clearance into the net. Minutes later, Aubameyang sealed the victory with a superb finish from a free-kick.

Aubameyang extended his scoring feat to five goals in four games and has scored in 16 goals in all 16 games across the board. Another interesting note is Pepe, who has not missed a spot-kick in all 10 attempt - from Lille to his times at Arsenal.

Arsenal snapped up their winless run having gone two matches without a win but draws. They remain in top-four position trailing Leicester, Manchester City and table leaders, Liverpool.
