European Championship Qualifying: Cristiano Ronaldo Nets Hat-trick Plus One For Portugal Against Lithuania

Portugal claimed a big win of 5-1 against Lithuania in the European Championship qualifying, four of which came straight from Juventus star striker Cristiano Ronaldo.

The victory moved Portugal to second place with eight points behind Ukraine which leads with 13 points in Group B - Lithuania is in the bottom of the table with just a point. 

After Ronaldo had scored the opening goal from a penalty, Vytautas Andriuskevicius levelled the scoring with a header to Mantas Kuklys' cross following a corner.

The scoreline stayed even until the second half when Ronaldo scored three more goals within 15 minutes to completed his eighth international hat-trick and extended his international career goals to 93.

Ronaldo led his country to win the UEFA Euro 2016 and was inspirational to the team beating France 1-0 in the final to lift the continental trophy.
