Cristiano Ronaldo Wants To Win More Ballon d'Or

If you think Cristiano Ronaldo can not win Ballon d'Or any more in his career, you might be getting it very wrong as the Juventus striker is unrelenting in his desire to win even more.

The Portugal international told Pier Morgan in an interview on British media ITV, that he is determined to win the title even more despite having won it five times. Ronaldo holds to the notion that he deserves more than his arch-rival Lionel Messi, with whom he had shared the podium with for 15 years.

"I would love [to win more], and I think I deserve it," he said. "Messi is a fantastic guy, a fantastic player. He's in the history of football - but I think I have to have six or seven or eight to be above him."

During his spell at Real Madrid, the two-time Fifa Men's Player award winner led the club to win three successive Champions League before leaving the club to Juventus where he won the Serie A in his debut season.

"I'm sure I'm in the history of football for what I have done and what I'm continuing to do, but one of the best players in history."

Ronaldo admitted that he might not necessarily be the #1 player of all-time and he would not mind if he is rated second behind any other player deemed to be number one in the history of football."
