Borussia Dortmund Reveal Manchester United Approached Jadon Sancho, Met With Agent In Summer
The club's sporting director Michael Zorc revealed that the teenager was linked with United and even went further to meet with his agent, but could not win his interest neither was the club's CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke ready to accept any offer from any top-flight club.
Speaking in Amazon Prime documentary on the club themed 'Inside Borussia Dortmund', Zorc explained that the 19-year-old is the "hot topic" at the club and the would not let him go at any price offered by United.
"A hot topic right now is Sancho and Manchester United," Zorc said. "Both his discussion with the club and mine with the agent, a meeting did take place. Manchester United invited the agent."

The England international is considered to be one of the hottest players of his generation having scored 17 goals and completed 27 assists in 60 appearances. In addition, former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger opened up on regretting not signing the player to the club - a chance he missed that landed him in Borussia Dortmund.
Zorc added, "According to what I know, the agent told the club that no matter how much money they offer, we won't let him go this summer."
Even if United were to sign the player, they might have to be ready to spend really big as he is valued at £100million considering his age and performance at the Bundesliga side.
Jadon joined Borussia for paltry £8million from Manchester City as a youth team member in 2017, after Wenger called off interest in signing him to Arsenal.
