Barcelona Switch Interest From Neymar To Kylain Mbappe After Talks With Paris Saint-Germain Failed

Barcelona reportedly are considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe after talks for Neymar's return to Catalan with the club was unsuccessful. 

Neymar was strongly linked with a return to Barca throughout summer transfer window, but PSG were sticking up demands that are beyond reach of the Spaniards, who at some points offered them £157million plus Philippe Coutinho (presently at Bayern Munich on loan). 

PSG director of football had told the Brazilian whom they signed for a record-breaking fee of £198million from Barca, that the club would only accept his return to Spain provided offer made by the club is such that suits everyone. 

Since Neymar has now chosen to settle in  Paris and all grudges with the club resolved, the La Liga giants have switched interest to the Frenchman, who scored the deciding goal for France to win the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia - they are expected to bid for him in January transfer window. 

Mbappe, 20, was signed to the Ligue 1 champions from Monaco after a season-long loan spell (2017-18) and has won with club three successive league titles scoring 34 goals in 32 appearances.
