Arsenal's Henrikh Mkhitaryan To Join AS Roma In Loan Move
A season-long loan deal is in-view for Henrikh Mkhitaryan as Arsenal have agreed to terms with AS Roma for his move ahead of the closure of transfer window on September 2.
Mkhitaryan was swapped from Manchester United to Arsenal in 2018 as part of a deal agreed on between the two clubs for Alexis Sanchez, who has also left Red Devils to join Inter Milan in a loan move that runs for a full season.
There has not been a stipulated fee to be paid to Arsenal for the Armenian's move but his move is understood to include an option to retain him permanently at the club.
The 30-year-old made his first appearance since the start of the season in Arsenal's 2-2 home draw with Tottenham on Sunday. He has a total of nine goals in 59 appearances within the period he stayed at Emirates.
