Antonio Alexis Believes Alexis Sanchez's Time For Regular Appearance Is Not Right Yet
Conte brought the Chilean to the club in a season-long loan move from Manchester United where the midfielder had a disastrous 18-month spell as his performance nose-dived compared to how he was at Arsenal.
Sanchez left United shortly after Romelu Lukaku completed his move to San Siro and has in the loan deal agreement, an option to remain permanently after the club after completing a season at the club.
When asked about the new-buy from Premier League, Conte replied, "When I see ready players, they will be inserted [into the team's lineup]. I have to work in the interest of Inter, not of individuals."
The 50-year-old believes the midfielder is better to have because having many options in the bench gives the team a boost which works out well with his long term plan for the team.
"For the midfielder, on the other hand, I am happy. Beyond those who score, the more arrows we have available to oyr bow, the better."
He went on to say about his long term plan and how keeping his players would fit in at the club that, "the more you stay in a club, the more it means that your ideas are being assimilated"
Sanchez joined United in a swap deal that moved Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Arsenal and was the club's highest-paid player with wages of over £400,000-per-week.
