African Pop Singer To Star In 'Coming To America'

It is understood that Eddie Murphy is already working on the production of 'Coming to America' sequel and will be bringing back on set, his onscreen companion, Arsenio Hall.

Michael Blackson original was not in the cast until famous rapper Akon criticised Eddie for not having African-Americans of African descent in the film. Apparently, the film will not be starring Blackson as the only actor of African descent as an African pop singer has been tipped for a role in the film

Akon's criticism is yielding results and has paved the way to the starring of one of Nigeria's finest pop singer in the person of David Adedeji Adeleke otherwise known as Davido.

Actually, it was Blackson who wrote in a tweeted message on Saturday, announced that he had a conversation with the 'Fall' singer and learnt that he will be starring in the sequel

"Davido told me he has a performance scene in the movie #ComingToAmerica2 congrats homie," he wrote in the message.

There has not been any confirmation of the claims made by Blackson but that could not have been a joke is there is no element of truth in it.

However, the sequel is expected to hit the cinemas next year in winter with release date set for 18 December 2020.
